12th Street Jump Set to Air One Last Time

WICR

(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Mark Edelman, Executive Producer of 12th Street Jump has announced that this weekend's show will be the final one produced.

After 12 years in production they have expressed their thanks to us for running the program and to KCUR-FM in Kansas City for hosting the series. During its existence 12th Street has been public radio's weekly jazz, blues and comedy jam and public radio's only program of this type. As Mark says in his press release, "I'd like to think that we've taught your listeners a thing or two about jazz and made a few of them laugh--but most important shared some great live! jazz performances with them."

WICR will fill the open hour on Saturday and Sunday with Jazz music.
